Some wedding photographers like to refer to themselves as your third wheel or your new best friend. While I’d love nothing more than to be friends, I think of myself - first and foremost - as your advocate in the joyful chaos of your wedding day.
I’ll go through your timeline with you and help you make important decisions (as someone who’s been a part of 50+ weddings). Hold your dress so it stays impeccable and do makeup touch-ups. Will ALWAYS have tissues and extra bobby pins on hand. Hold your hand and help you calm your nerves.

Photography is visual storytelling, and every good story needs to evoke emotions. This is why I value getting to know you personally and learning more about who you are as a person & couple.
I guide you to feel organic & at ease in front of the camera, helping your raw feelings unfold. When you work with me, you won’t stand there awkwardly not knowing what to do. You’ll feel supported, yet free to express yourself just the way you are.
Unique Personality
I don’t blindly follow trends or only focus on capturing aesthetics that are “in” right now - although I do stay up to date on all of the best photography practices.
Instead, I pay close attention to what makes you you as a couple and take shots that capture your unique relationship & dynamics. Your photos are your heirlooms, and you don’t want them to be generic!
Appreciation for Art
My education & background are in graphic design, which means that I take notice of the smallest details and use colors & lighting to convey emotions (both during the shoot and during the editing process).
In a way, I design scenes & feelings through photography. Hence the name Sky Gold Design!
