Before I fell in love with photographing your love, I worked as a graphic designer at an architecture firm. I spent my days learning about how buildings, interior spaces, colors, and lighting evoke different emotions.
When I became a full-time wedding photographer, I took these skills with me. My editorial approach incorporates the beauty of the scene around you into the shot, enhancing the romance of your story.
Isabel and Nick’s Bellevue Hotel Philadelphia wedding was filled with quiet moments, meaningful details, and so much joy. Their early spring celebration at XIX at the Bellevue brought together the elegance of a historic Philadelphia venue with the warmth of a day centered around family and friends.
The couple began their day with a private first look on the XIX balcony at the Bellevue, where the Philadelphia skyline created a beautiful backdrop for this special moment. From there, we moved throughout the hotel for portraits, including the iconic Pearl Room, which offers beautiful natural light even on an overcast spring day.
After portraits at the Bellevue, we traveled to the Merchants Exchange Building for wedding party, family, and additional couples portraits. The historic architecture provided a classic Philadelphia setting before returning to the hotel for the ceremony.
The Pearl Room was transformed into an elegant ceremony space before guests moved into the ballroom for an intimate, candlelit reception. The evening continued with heartfelt toasts, celebration, and additional portraits throughout the hotel’s grand winding staircase.
One of my favorite parts about photographing at XIX at the Bellevue is the variety throughout the property. From the skyline views on the balcony to the historic details inside the hotel, every space offers a different atmosphere while still feeling connected to the story of the day.
As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, I love documenting celebrations that balance timeless architecture with genuine moments. The best wedding galleries feel like a reflection of the couple, the location, and everything that made the day uniquely theirs.
